Learn to sketch wolves from live models! Founded in 1999, the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a not-for-profit environmental education organization working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through science-based education, advocacy, and participation in the federal recovery and release programs for the Mexican gray wolf and red wolf, two critically endangered species. While observing three gray wolves in person, learn how to use simple shapes to sketch wolves and other animals with tips and a watercolor demonstration from the instructor. In the process, hear about the lifespans of wolves and the threats to their existence. Students must bring sketchpad and pencils or pens to class. No prior experience is required.
