Wit’s Worth in Poetry

 "Show  me a man who knows what's funny, and I'll show you a man who knows what isn't." — Mark Twain.  This four-week class focuses on the vital wit of poets from John Donne to Philip Larkin, from Marianne Moore to Billy Collins, and from Kay Ryan to William Matthews.  Students will be provided poems in advance and are also welcome to share additional ones in class.
