I want to cook you a soup that warms your soul.
                                             -Sade, “King of Sorrow”

Most of us have one or two powerful food stories tucked up our sleeves or in the pockets of our aprons.  In this one-day class, writings and musings about food and its place in our lives will frame the written work we will do. Students will work on their own short pieces in class, generating new work from writing prompts and exercises. It is this exploration of what some call “the great unifier” that will guide our writing.
Open to all genres!
