ID : 5667
« back to classes page
Even before Columbus, Spain was a world power and more influential than its rival England in the founding of the Americas.  And yet, Spain is almost invisible to Americans — bullfights, Picasso and tapas notwithstanding.  We will survey Spanish history and culture from ancient to modern times, particularly Spain’s influence on the history and culture of the United States.
