It is never too early to start your memoir.  By reminiscing out loud in class, answering provocative and probing questions, participating in group conversations to be recorded, and completing assignments each week, students will begin the process of organizing and presenting their life stories in writing.  At the end of the eight-week course, students will have the start of a full memoir.  Students from prior classes are welcome as we will be exploring new questions.

In this one-day workshop, learn to weave a continuous weave basket with swing handles, the perfect basket for fall apple picking.  Emphasis is on shaping the basket.  The basket measures 12”x5” by 10” high.  Materials included in class fee.  Bring a packed lunch to enjoy during the midday break.

During two evenings, weave a Sultan’s treasure basket, only 4” in diameter with a lid, in your choice of colors.  In the process, students will learn several different techniques, including start/stop weaving, twining, adding a rim, and shaping a lid to fit your basket.  Acquire a new skill in a class filled with fun and take your handmade basket home when you are finished.  Materials included in class fee.
