Feel great with ancient energy techniques!  This class will focus on the ancient Chinese techniques of qigong and acupressure to help balance general health and to increase body-mind awareness.  Qigong means energy work or cultivation and can be thought of as a moving meditation.  You will learn an easy-to-do set known as the Eight Silken Movements, which are breathing and energy-strengthening exercises.  We will also incorporate gentle flowing motions and range of motion to warm up the body.  During each session, you will also learn to find acupressure points on yourself to enhance your well- being and help reduce pain from headaches, digestive issues, sinuses and more.  Included in the course will be additional meditation and energy exercises for calmness and centering.
