In two sessions, learn how to get the most out of the camera in your iPhone/iPad that can take you from simple “point-and-shoot” snapshots to photography that rivals much more complex cameras.  Familiarize yourself with the controls and settings, learn how to navigate the phone’s image storage systems, and maximize its creative potential with adjustments and filters.  The first class will cover set up, controls, storage, and sharing of images on your iPhone/iPad.  The second class will address simple editing techniques with the phone’s editing tools, and move on to explore more creative alterations with the free application SnapSeed.

Students will learn the basics of MS Excel, such as creating formulas, if statements, v-lookups, multi-page documents, sorting, shortcuts, printing the document, and working with large documents.  Students will also be instructed on how to create charts and graphs.

Learn about the buying and selling process on eBay.  In addition, we will discuss how to determine pricing and marketability of items, the different types of auctions, writing effective descriptions, uploading images, shipping, PayPal, and fees.  This is a demonstration class (no computer hands-on) with many tips and strategies on buying/selling.  Instructor will discuss eBay apps that can be used on your cell phone or tablet.

Apple’s iCloud seamlessly synchronizes and backs up important info from your devices’ apps, such as Contacts, Mail, Calendars, Photos, Notes, Reminders, and iTunes.  Upload locally-stored files onto iCloud Drive.  Can't find your device?  Use "Find my iPhone" for any iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch.  Create, collaborate, and save your Apple Numbers, Pages, or Keynote files for access from all your Apple devices.  Students must bring their Apple ID and password to class.  Knowledge of iPhone/iPad fundamentals are a prerequisite to this non-introductory class.

Designed for students who are already familiar with formulas, this class will teach students how to manage large sheets of data in sorting and filtering, use shortcuts, link data from multiple files, utilize pivot tables, and perform mail merge with Word to can create letters, labels, and envelopes.  Time permitting, we will discuss student’s specific needs.  If you have specific questions, bring files to class on a flash drive so we can discuss and share.  Prerequisite: “Formulas, Charts, and More with Excel” or a basic knowledge of Excel.
