For the major muscle groups, these free-weight exercises will increase muscular strength and endurance and will improve flexibility, range of motion, and body tone. Participants will learn to exercise safely and correctly. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome; progress will be according to ability. Bring an exercise mat and 1- 5 pound weights. Thursday evening class will use dynabands which will be available for purchase ($3 - $5) at the first class.   Enrollment limited to 18 students.

Basic Yoga

This slow-moving, chair-based class uses basic yoga movements linked with breath to improve range of motion, increase flexibility and build protective muscular strength. Accessible to people of all sizes, ages and fitness levels, including those with injuries and chronic conditions. Breathing exercises and meditation techniques help focus the mind to improve relaxation and well-being. Bring a yoga sticky mat to class. Enrollment limited to 14 students.

Vinyasa Yoga

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is ideal for practitioners seeking a more gentle, restorative practice, as well as athletes looking to improve their game by increasing their flexibility and stamina.  Each pose will be held for several breaths, delving deeper with every exhalation.
