ID : 7714
« back to classes page

What is a pipe organ and how does it work?  Have you ever wondered how one instrument can make so much sound, what all of those buttons and keyboards do, or how the organists can play with their feet while playing multiple keyboards at the same time?  This single session will explain the mystery of this ancient instrument. Using the J. W. Walker pipe organ in the sanctuary of Hitchcock Church, the class will be introduced to the organ, its inner workings, and how it works.
