« back to classes page

The Audubon Mural Project is an exciting effort to create murals of over 300 climate-threatened North American birds in the Harlem neighborhoods of Hamilton and Washington Heights, where John James Audubon lived.  The tour will walk along Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue between 147th and 157th Streets to see at least 30 murals and visit Audubon's impressive gravesite in the Trinity Church Cemetery. Starting location to be provided via email prior to the tour; students are to arrive there fifteen minutes prior to tour start time.
