ID : 7207
« back to classes page
Imagine you are up on stage in front of an audience, or sitting around a conference at table at work, or surrounded by a group of close friends at a coffee house, what personal story would you tell if you had five minutes.  Everyone loves a good story, but sometimes telling it can be tricky.  In this 3-hour workshop, we will work on developing our storytelling skills through games and exercises.  We’ll be learning about how to tell a great story and how to hone in on the parts of a story that makes them relatable and universal.  Also, we’ll work on the performance skills necessary to make the story even more compelling for your audience.    This workshop will be highly interactive and you will be working in pairs, small groups and as well as presenting to the full class.  In the style of the Moth, or Scarsdale’s own Tale’s from the Dale and Beyond, please bring a five minute personal and totally true story that we will work on together.
