« back to classes page
For the photographer who wants to understand their digital camera in depth, this class teaches foundation concepts and puts them into practice during class photo sessions.  Exposure control, metering, focusing, and using flash are explained and illustrated through presentations and lecture, with constant reference to the camera in your hands.  The course also explores the behavior of light, posing and composition.  Though the sessions are indoors, there will be ample opportunities for hands-on photography and image analysis.  The best way to become competent and confident as a developing photographer is with the guidance of a professional photographer who is career teacher.
