Gain an understanding of fixed income investments, one of the largest and fastest growing segments of global capital markets.  In this workshop, students will learn about fixed income markets and the different types of securities — treasury, agency, mortgage, corporate and municipal.  We will also address questions including:  What is a bond, its components and structure?  What are principle, interest, maturity and call features?  What are the risks associated with investing in bonds?  What is yield?  How and where can I buy bonds?  How do I know I’m paying a fair price?
