Spring Grilling

Escape from the kitchen with easy grilling and barbecue recipes and techniques. Learn how proper preparation can mean the difference between a mediocre and outstanding meal.

Learn how to make an easy variation on the classic hamburger served with grilled peppers, chicken prepared two ways utilizing a wet BBQ sauce and also featuring a dry spice rub, served with seasonal grilled vegetables, and beef/steak prepared with a traditional BBQ sauce as well as a dry spice combo, served with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. Each class will culminate in a feast that will include home-made dessert prepared by Susan Grosz.

Enrollment limited to 16 students.

JEFF GASKIN, captain with the Scarsdale Fire Department, is an experienced home and firehouse chef.
