We will explore the world of natural healing to learn about uncommon uses of common kitchen herbs. Focus will be on botanical extracts and herbal infusions that can alleviate common ailments such as flu and viruses, upper respiratory and digestive issues, and skin irritations. Our goal is to make the health store a friendly complement to the pharmacy. There will be a demonstration and samples of preparations.

ANNIE INNES graduated from Lehman College and NY Botanical Garden with a BS in Plant Science. She works with Angel Wing Enterprise making a variety of herbal tinctures, syrups, and infusions. CATHY GOLDSMITH is a graduate of NYU. She became interested in homeopathy and natural remedies when her young son became ill and conventional medicine offered no relief.
