Computer Basics For The Volunteer, Event Planner, Or Busy Parent

Are you planning a birthday party for 20, a special occasion for 200, a charity event for 2000? Do you chair a committee for the PTA or a community organization? Do you have a carpool schedule to coordinate, or a hectic family calendar to organize? If so, this class is for you. Participants will learn to use Microsoft Word and Excel to develop letters, invitations and mailing lists, and to track contributions. Students will learn to develop lists, organize calendars and attach spreadsheets to emails.

Although it is assumed that students will have a basic knowledge of computers, a day of basic introduction to Word and Excel will be included.
