ALFRED HUNT, Professor Emeritus
of history at Purchase College, was a dean of the College of Letters
and Science, and was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for
Teaching Excellence. Professor Hunt will have just returned from
sailing around the world as a visiting faculty member in the
University of Virginia Semester at Sea program.
