The Scarsdale Adult School:

• was founded in 1938 and serves all of Westchester County
  
• receives no taxpayer support and is totally independent of the Scarsdale Board of Education
  
• offers 125+ daytime and evening classes
  
• serves over 2000 students each year at locations throughout lower Westchester
  
• provides printed catalogs that are distributed throughout the county in addition to this
  website that allows for online registration by credit card
  
• pays rent where classes are held, including Scarsdale schools and houses of worship
  
• is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit entity that accepts tax-deductible donations from individuals and corporations
  
• needs your financial contribution to meet rising operating costs that are not covered by student fees
