Jews And Arabs: Archeology And The Bible

When did Israel first appear in the archeological record? When did the Arabs? What was the relationship between the two peoples?

Jews and Arabs frequently are ignorant about their own and each other’s history and heritage even as both peoples constantly refer to it. This class will examine case studies in biblical history through archeological findings. Bring your advanced detective skills to solve the mysteries of child sacrifice in ancient times and the double murder of kings. Explore a time when Israel and the Arabs were allies.

Dr. PETER FEINMAN, EdD, is the founder of the Institute of History, Archeology, and Education.
