Gentle Yoga For Arthritis |
Stress-free yoga postures can reduce
joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, while improving range of
motion, increasing flexibility, and building protective muscular
strength. This class uses gentle yoga to stretch, strengthen, and
align the body.
Breathing exercises and meditation techniques help
focus the mind to improve relaxation and overall well-being.
Participants progress according to ability. Enrollment limited to 14 students.
Bring a yoga sticky mat to class. |

JAN BLOOM
is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and Yoga therapist who
specializes in helping people with physical limitations and injuries
manage their condition. The Westchester Office of the County
Executive honored her for a yoga wellness program she developed. |
