Painting With Watercolors |
 Beginners will be taught composition,
color mixing, and the use of negative space, and how to apply these
basics to landscapes, flowers, and still life. More experienced
participants will further develop their skills.
Each class includes
demonstration, painting and critique. All levels welcome, from
beginners to those with more experience.
In warmer months, the class
will be painting “en plein aire” at various locations in and around
Scarsdale.

HOPE FRIEDLAND earned a Master’s
Degree in Art Education at Columbia University, Teacher’s College
and, after graduating, studied oil painting in Florence, Italy. An
award winning watercolorist, Hope’s paintings capture the essence of
florals and landscapes. She teaches watercolor classes on cruise
ships. |
