Masterworks Of The Piano |
 Each session will include a complete
performance. Compositions will be discussed for their musical
structure, style and historical perspective.
Works include: Haydn’s
Variations in F Minor; Beethoven Sonata (Op. 31, #2 or 3);
selections from Chopin, Debussy’s Estampes, and Messiaen’s
Vingt Regards de l’Enfant-Jesus. |

EDMUND NIEMANN, a faculty member
at Hoff-Barthelson School of Music, is a partner in the piano duo
Double Edge, and a member of the Steve Reich Ensemble. Mr. Niemann
has appeared as a guest artist with several music ensembles and has
toured the U.S. and abroad. |
