The Scarsdale Adult School is a continuing education program that offers an enrichment curriculum for lifelong learning. Day and evening courses are given throughout the year.
There is a wide choice of intellectually stimulating, recreational, and skill-enhancing courses and lectures. Subjects range from literature, history, music and art to computer use, crafts, fitness, health and wellness, cooking, dance, bridge and nature.

Established in 1938, the school is an independent, not-for-profit organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. There are no prerequisites for attending courses and no exams. All adults are welcome, regardless of where they live.

The Scarsdale Adult School is only partially supported by course fees and relies for much of the cost of programming on the generosity of the community through tax deductible contributions.
